UNITED.Loved.

As followers of Jesus, “Christians” we have a story to tell. We are called to be witnesses, to share our faith, and spread the good news of our Savior. With this we also have to understand that God wants us to tell this world that we stand together!

Unfortunately, we in a dived world today. However, as a believer in Christ we have to understand that cannot reflect the church or in the church. No matter what the issues are in the world, for the church we have to stand united. We are “one body”, “one church”. The way we treat, and accept one another in the body of Christ, is a true reflection of the God that we serve. Jesus says it best in John 13:35, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, of you have love for one another” (1 John 13:35). When you love someone, you put up with them, you accept their uniqueness, and you love them in the good times and in the bad times.

We must understand that we MUST love, this is important to God. Afterall that is why God sent His son to die just for us (all of us). “For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Think about it this way…
There is a storm raging in this world we live in today. However, we the church must stand together in united, through the love of God. Remember the story of Noah and the Ark? On the Ark there were two animals of every kind, along with Noah’s family. If you have ever been to a barn or stable you probably know that it can be pretty stinky… With Noah’s family it is probably pretty certain that they may have not put a lot of focus on the “smell” of the stench around them because God had provided safety in the midst of destruction around them.

We have to understand that we cannot allow the “stench” to become our focus, we have continually give God Thanks and Praise for His love that was demonstrated towards us.

The world is watching us, and in troubling times the world needs to see that “WE” the body of Christ can stand together through the Love of a Heavenly Father.

Ephesians 4:3 reminds us that we must be “eager to maintain” unity. We have all failed, and fallen, however God wants us to stand together, encourage one another, and pray for one another. “We love because He FIRST loved us” (1 John 4:19).

In the midst of trouble in our world today, be the difference. STAND TOGETHER, remain strong in the body of Christ, after all we are HIS CHURCH.
