I've Got The POWER... (oh) SNAP!

Recently Ashley and I watched one of my favorite movies, Man of The House. Man of The House is a movie made in 1995 and stars Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Chevy Chase. To make it short its about a step father trying to gain a relationship with his new wife's son who is played by Jonathan Taylor Thomas, one way he does this is they join a father son Indian tribe. I believe one of the best parts of the movie is when the group is learning to do a "Rain Dance" the music "I've Got The Power" by the group SNAP. To sum it up in hopes to not ruin the movie for you, the two in a very comical way gain a great relationship even though they face some crazy challenges during the film.

This really makes me reflect on life, and lets be real here for a minute... at times life sucks. Because of obstacles, challenges, trials and valleys that we often face. In life there will be your fair share of down days, but we have to learn to stay focused. People will let you down at times, you will fall short, and so will they. But, don't let that kill you. Everyone will fall from time to time, it's how we get back up that matters, and what we do next.

Understand, that when we face struggles and the unthinkable that YOU can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens YOU! Take that scripture and right above it in your Bible make it personal, or write yourself a sticky note and Replace me with YOUR name. This is for YOU... You Can Do It, if you tap into HIS power! With Him YOU have GOT the POWER!

All you have to remember, is that when it gets tough, just take a step back, be still, breath, and KNOW that He is GOD. And that HE has given you the POWER to face whatever comes your way, its there you just have to release it in your life. No matter what you face good or bad, God wants all the Glory- Remember to Praise Him in the Storm, not just on the beach with your tanning oil.
